This policy governs the meeting records maintained and, where chosen, published by NangalDewat.com (the "Platform").

1. Nature of the records

Meeting records on the Platform are privately initiated and privately maintained records kept by the platform owner. Unless a record expressly states otherwise and is supported by verified written authority, no meeting record on the Platform is an official record or the official minutes of any Resident Welfare Association, residents' association, village committee, government body, or public authority.

2. Classification

Each meeting record is classified, for example as a private meeting, an owner-initiated meeting, an informal resident discussion, a working group, a public information session, a third-party record, or — only where verified documentary authority is attached — a verified official record. The classification is shown with the record.

3. Publication levels

Meeting records are private by default. The platform owner controls publication and may publish nothing, a summary only, or a fuller record, at levels ranging from private, to invited attendees, to authenticated users, to public. Public pages carry the required independent-record notice.

4. Participants and consent

  • Participation in a meeting is voluntary.
  • Named attribution of statements to participants in published records is handled with restraint, and consent notes are kept with the record.
  • A participant may request correction or clarification of how they are recorded.

5. Corrections and version history

  1. Meeting records keep an immutable version history: every change is recorded as a new version with its reason.
  2. Corrections — owner amendments, participant clarifications, disputed-statement notes, and supporting documents — are appended to the record; they never silently overwrite it.
  3. Correction requests receive reference numbers and recorded outcomes, in line with the Editorial and Corrections Policy.

6. Attendance confers no rights

Attending, being invited to, or being recorded in a meeting confers no ownership of the meeting records, the Platform, the domain, or any database, and no governance or administrative rights over the Platform.

7. Verification of official matters

Where a meeting record refers to actions, decisions, or notices of any public authority or organisation, that information must be verified directly with the authority or organisation concerned before being relied upon.
