Acceptable Use Policy

This policy sets the rules for using NangalDewat.com (the "Platform"), including its public pages, forms, and private areas. It forms part of the Terms of Use.
1. Lawful use only
The Platform may be used only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable Indian law, including law governing information technology, data protection, defamation, and intellectual property.
2. Prohibited conduct
When using the Platform, you must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, private area, database, or administrative system.
- Scrape, harvest, enumerate, copy, or export directory data or other personal data, by any means.
- Share private-area content, directory data, or unlisted links with people not authorised to receive them.
- Impersonate the Platform, its owner, any resident, or any authority, or misrepresent the Platform as an official body or as speaking for residents collectively.
- Submit material that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, obscene, or that infringes intellectual-property rights or privacy rights.
- Upload malicious code or take any action that disrupts, overloads, or interferes with the Platform or its security measures.
- Misuse the contact or submission forms, including bulk, automated, or bad-faith submissions.
- Circumvent rate limits, visibility controls, or other technical safeguards.
3. Accounts and access
Access to private areas is personal, limited, and revocable. Account credentials must not be shared. Access does not indicate membership in, ownership of, or representation of any organisation, and confers no rights over the Platform.
4. Enforcement
The platform owner may, subject to applicable law: decline or remove content; restrict, suspend, or revoke access; revoke directory participation; and preserve evidence in the audit log. Unlawful activity may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
5. Reporting misuse
Suspected misuse of the Platform, security concerns, or unlawful content may be reported through the contact page. Reports receive a reference number and are reviewed.
